The Concrete Manufacturers Association (CMA) is the primary representative of the precast concrete industry in South Africa. The CMA is celebrating more than 50 years of precast concrete perfection.
The Association’s promotional activities target Architects, Engineers, Developers, Contractors and property owners. Pooled knowledge and expertise, through its members and industry specific content, developed over many years creates a porthole for all industry roll players to invaluable industry information and access to precast products consistent in quality.

From the definition, the complexities around precast concrete is evident. Over the past decades the CMA has rewritten, upgraded, updated and amended nearly every National Standard on precast concrete. The CMA endeavours to
amended and/or revised the South African National Standards with collaboration and cooperation from the SABS Standards Division, to the benefit of the industry.
The CMA has published acclaimed manuals, brochures and audio visuals on the practical application of precast concrete. This material is available on the CMA website, www.cma.org.za.
On request or invitation the CMA presents courses, workshops and seminars to promote knowledge and aid in succession training of artisans and contribute to career path development. Where applicable these events carryCPD points.
The CMA is not a “Certification Body” and does not approve or endorse any of the products of its “Producer Members”. The CMA however endorses its members to commit to the implementation of a quality management system or at least a quality policy, relating to the quest to manufacture precast concrete units consistent in quality.
The CMA promotes the use of quality precast concrete units.
CMA Certification Services (Pty) Ltd is a subsidiary company of CMA NPC. CMACS is a SANAS Accredited Certification Body (C75 & C75b).
